SNJO Big Band Workshop and Showcase
Tuesday 15 September – 10:00 – 15:45 (Public Showcase: 15:00 – 15:45) – Peebles High School.
Members of the professional Scottish National Jazz Orchestra work with SNJO Big Band Workshop and Showcase.
Following their fantastic opening performance at last year’s Festival, we are thrilled to welcome back the exceptional tutors from the Scottish National Youth Jazz Orchestra (SNYJO).
In partnership with Scottish Borders Council’s Instrumental Music Service (IMS), SNJO’s world-class tutors will lead an intensive, high-energy day of educational workshops for the region’s young musicians. This all-day event (running from 10:00 to 15:45) is a cornerstone of the festival’s commitment to inspiring the next generation of jazz talent across the Scottish Borders.
